First, I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my work. My love for photography started as far back as I can remember. Back in the day of film, I couldn't get to the store fast enough to turn in my roll and anxiously wait to see my pictures. It wasn’t until 2008 when I got serious about my photography. I bought my first “big time” camera and the journey continued.
I spent the next few years diligently studying the art of photography. I took a photography class at the community college which built a nice foundation. Thanks to a dear friend who is an amazingly talented photographer, I have had the privilege of many lessons and even more answered questions. After several books, classes, and several thousand practice shots, I realized this is what I wanted to do for a living. I have been incredibly blessed to get to learn from some of the most talented photographers in our industry. The knowledge and skills I have gained through them has been invaluable! I am always continuing my education to grow and improve my art.
My goal with every client is to give them the very best experience and products possible. I am blessed to have worked with such wonderful and amazing families. I am very proud to have been able to give them beautiful images to always cherish. I am a custom photographer, which means I put my whole heart and lots of time to produce individualized art that is truly unique to every client. I haven't had and never will have a time limit on my sessions. I only schedule one session a day to make sure we always have as much time as needed to get the images we both desire.
Newborn safety is my highest priority. Not only have I raised three babies of my own, I was also a labor and delivery nurse for the 20 years. I have been trained in newborn safety photography and so have my assistants. We also have all of our immunizations, including influenza during flu season and pertussis..
I believe photographs are our most cherished material possessions. It is so gratifying to know that I am capturing life’s special moments for others to always cherish.
